The wait is over for everyone in Snohomish County who until now has been shut out of swine flu shots. Beginning today, anyone who wants the immunization, either the nasal spray or the shot, should be able to get it.

By United Press International ATLANTA, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- About 50 million people in the United States had have swine flu, with about 10,000 of the cases ending in death, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control said.
State health officials decided Thursday to give the general public access to swine flu shots, falling in line with Dallas County leaders who began widespread vaccine distribution this week.
