The World Health Orga-nisation (WHO) is currently enmeshed in a crisis of confidence over charges that its conduct so far including policies and recommendations on the A:H1N1 pandemic otherwise known as Swine flu were influenced by the pharmaceutical industry.
A receptionist at a GP’s surgery has been left unable to walk properly after having the swine flu jab. Doctors believe the jab triggered a rare condition affecting the nervous system known as myasthenia gravis.

Special clinics in Otago will begin delivering the free swine-flu vaccine from today for those considered most at risk of contracting the illness. The monovalent (single-strain) pandemic vaccine is expected to be offered to up to 150,000 people across New Zealand.
