New Delhi, Mar 17 (PTI) The Union Health Ministry has begun dispatching vaccines against swine flu to various states which will immunise their health workers against the disease.

The board opts to spend $70,000 less than proposed on informing the public. The Snohomish Health District was offered up to $220,000 in federal money for a program to inform the public about swine flu, but decided that cost too much.

HEALTH chiefs have stopped handing out medication to swine flu victims at all but one location in the borough.

People were lining up in Kalihi on Tuesday to get swine flu shots.
